Logo Design for “Chic Frequency”…
•February 1, 2010 • Leave a CommentSo a friend of mine is starting a new venture, an Event’s/Night-life party company. He brings in DJ’s and organizes dance parties in various clubs around town in Amman, Jordan. He asked me to design a logo for him, the company is called “Chic Frequency”. This is the result. We knew we would have to incorporate some kind of equalizer/frequency graphic into it and after about a couple of weeks of going back and forth, we came up with this one.
I’m having a different kind of Birthday this year…
•January 24, 2010 • Leave a CommentThis year, if you’d like to wish me a Happy Birthday, go to this link and give $29 dollars instead of buying me a gift or getting me drinks at the club. I won’t be partying and I won’t be celebrating [too] much. It’s about time I took action in helping others and not just talking about it.
Thank You for your contribution,
My Resume/C.V as an infographic…
•January 20, 2010 • Leave a Comment
I came across some artists on-line recently who have been transforming the standard lay-out of a traditional resume’ into something more interesting as an info-graphic. And so I decided to do one myself… I still think it needs some more refinement and the wording of some of the copy needs to be improved. But nonetheless here it is, please comment or critique as you see fit in helping make it more meaningful and stand out. Thank You

Experimental 2D Graphics
•December 15, 2009 • Leave a CommentFor Experimental 2D Graphics class, we were given an open brief to just take a concept and completely go crazy with it. Get out of our comfort zone and try something new. My idea was to re-design 3 Tarot cards based on pre-Arabian mythology. After some research I came up with the 3 mythical animals and decided to draw, collage, manipulate them as if they were meant for a deck of Arabian Tarot cards. The Behemut [fish], the Rokh [eagle] and the Sand-walker [scorpion-crab-like creature that used to steal horses during the night]. And so whit that in mind, and after a 100 revisions trying to create something that was not my style yet also impact-ful I came up with this triptych series.

Adobe Certification….
•November 17, 2009 • 1 CommentThis morning in Vancouver I went to an Adobe test center and took the Photoshop CS4 exam and passed. I am [soon to be] an Adobe Certified Photoshop Expert. Once I receive my package from them I will upload the appropriate media to this blog and update my Resume/C.V. Thanks to Vancouver Film School and my ex-Head of Dept. Sebastien de Castell for providing the opportunity.

African Children
•November 10, 2009 • 3 Comments
So after 8-9 weeks of scope changes and concept brainstorming & lots of process.. this is “sorta” the end-of-year final video piece I made in the Digital Design program at Vancouver Film School. There are some glitches & some refinements still to be fixed. The concept/brief was to create a 1min. story-based info-graphic commericla for a fake charity organization that sends footballs as a symbol to help under-privileged African children from the daily threats posed on them.
Please comments & critiques welcome…
Thank You,

Experimenting with Photography & more Type…
•October 25, 2009 • 1 CommentThis was a personal experiment trying to find the right type and the right words/phrases that would suit a photograph. It was self-practice to get myself used to captioning my own photo’s to learn more about copy and what goes into trying to define a photograph.
